What a silly sausage

I've just emailed PD to tell him that little girl likes to play in the garden after school, because for the second time in her short life I will not be picking her up and putting her to bed.

I'm teary already.

It's silly because sometimes I long for more freedom, sometimes I delay going home by 15 minutes just so I can 'be' a little bit longer, sometimes I look forward to 7pm bedtime, sometimes I wish I had someone to share the responsibility...

Maybe I just need to miss her sometimes too.

That's the irony of being a mum, isn't it? I sometime would do anything to be away on my own for a couple of days, but if I am just a few hours out shopping or doing something else shopping I can't help but missing them...

I think this happens with everyone. I'm the same... waiting until I have a bit of peace and quiet, child at the grandparents... but then I get this crazy urge to go over and pick her up early just because I miss her. Crazy. lol

I think most mothers feel the same , i love my children but feel i spend most of my day wishing for bedtime .

I got a rare chance to go out shopping alone this afternoon , after around an hour all i wanted was to be with my babies again
