Respect to you. I took my daughter to nursery in a halloween costume I bought from a shop. While it was very cute (a little cat dress), I was in awe of the little ones in home made costumes... Not only that people actually have sewing skills but ALSO they find the time to do it.

You know you are so right; many people are cash rich but time poor.
I did covet a very cute, shop bought, spider costume a little boy was wearing.
